History of Interior Design
It seems natural to begin our exploration with nature, the beginning of all. Animals build a home for shelter, rest, safety and caring for their off-springs. It can be a nest, a hole in a tree, a burrow. Nomadic creatures rest in the open, shaded from the elements, and for safety during the darkness of night. Particularly our feathered friends ingeniously construct their nests with minute detail and totally functional. For all it is HOME. Over millions of years this need for a HOME was adapted by humans as a necessity for survival and eventually also as an expression of who they are and dream to be.
